FAQ
Questions prospective students ask
How long does it take to earn a degree?
It depends on the program. The bachelor’s is 180 ECTS across six semesters of 12 weeks each — about 18 months, half the time of a traditional degree. The Master’s in IoT is 120 ECTS and the MBA in Entrepreneurship Management is 90 ECTS, each across four semesters of 12 weeks. Every program is accelerated, remote-first and challenge-based.
What does it cost?
Tuition is organized into four packages that each build on the one before it: the ZeroDebt Degree Accelerator, Career Advancement Launchpad, Lifelong Learning Passport and Ultimate Success Package. See the full breakdown of what’s included in each on our tuition & fees page.
Is Challenge University really fully online?
Yes. Challenge University is 100% remote-first — no campus, the world is the classroom — so you can study from anywhere on an accelerated, self-paced schedule.
What is challenge-based learning?
It’s the model behind everything at CU, summed up as ‘Knowing. Doing. Being.’ Instead of sitting through lectures, you build practical skills by working through real-world challenges and graduate with proof of what you can actually do. Challenges are practised on the Ewance platform, and every brief comes with a rubric and a deliverable — AI-generated practice briefs, not commissions from a named company.
Who teaches and supports me?
Three groups: educators, mentors and coaches. Our educators are highly qualified, often holding Ph.D. degrees and professional certifications in their respective fields, and are experienced in both academia and industry. Mentors guide you through real-world challenges and offer career advice — industry professionals who share insights that go beyond textbooks. Coaches provide emotional and psychological support, trained in techniques that help you manage stress and sustain an intellectually curious mindset.
How do I apply?
It’s a three-step process: sign up, pick your program (bachelor’s, master’s & MBA, or industrial PhD), and start your first challenge. Head to apply now to begin, or request free information first if you’d like more details before you commit.
Your future won’t wait. Neither should you.
